Racial Discrimination Ethics And Morality
| Some people may seem to be flawless in most aspects of their life but may tend to exhibit an incredible lack of morality and ethical behavior either in their personal lives or in their place of work when it comes to the manner in which they treat their fellow human being. |
|
One such instance of lack of moral and ethically responsible behavior is to practice racial discrimination.
Discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin is considered as racial discrimination. Discriminatory action or attitude with fellow human beings, irrespective of whether it is deliberate or unconscious is considered illegal and falls under the general purview of immoral and unethical behavior. Racial discrimination may either be carried out at a personal level or at an institutional level.
Although it is considered illegal to discriminate a person on the basis of their racial origins, racial discrimination is still in vogue. Episodes of racial discrimination and disparities continue not only in America but also in other regions of the globe such as in Australia and the UK. In America, it is frequently seen that black men or a black women are very much part of the disadvantaged section of the American society when it comes to hiring, pay package, or other perks in spite of having the same qualifications and level of experience as white men and women.
Racial discrimination encompasses a wide spectrum of behavioral and other forms of discrimination. The person being victimized on the basis of racial discrimination may be at a disadvantage when it comes to education, housing, medical services, products, benefits, facilities, employment opportunities, insurance benefits, or any other service areas.
