Racial Discrimination In Politics

Racial discrimination is largely practiced even in politics. In the US, some parties clearly are oriented towards a specific community or race. It is difficult to find a mixed breed of politicians in them. Martin Luther King said in his speech that the black revolution is just more than a fight for equal rights for the black, and it is compelling America to see the flaws in the society like racism, gender bias, poverty and materialism.

However, America has progressed to great lengths after the Black Revolution period and today, the country has a black president. For the first time in the history of US politics, a black president has taken over the reins of the government. What America still has to see is a woman president. However, with the appointment of a black president, America has set an example to the rest of the world to follow by overcoming problems like racial discrimination.

The Africans Americans were one of the most discriminated creeds in history and today they have fought their way to respect and social status. However, no community should be made to suffer so much because of their color or race.

Politics is the main part of any nation that is involved in shaping the nation. However, politicians are people and if they believe in racism then it is difficult to bring about a change. Politicians must adopt revolutionary methods rather than biased view points to run a country. That remains the best strategy to solve the problems in the society.
