Racial Discrimination In The Workplace

Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act says that racial discrimination at work place is not allowed and completely avoided. Racial discrimination based on caste and color is prohibited according to the United States laws also. However, as much as this rule is popular even racial discrimination is equally prevalent among societies in the United States.

A popular research shows that there is still a high rate of unemployment in the United States among the black community; racial discrimination could be one of the leading reasons for this. Actually when you look at the wider picture you will notice that the racial discrimination plays a larger role than you think it does.

The blacks have been racially discriminated societies for a long time and they suffered from getting fewer opportunities for several decades. This has led to the downfall of an entire community because of the discrimination meted out to the black community they have been shoved into poverty and below poverty levels for a long time. Even today, the black community is recovering from the effects of racial discrimination. Several people have not been educated enough to find good jobs and raise their families above the poverty line. After a life time of struggle, finally the black community is finding hopes for improvement for their community. However, as an after math even today there is intentional discrimination of the black community in people. The Equal Employment and Fair Housing Act of Civil Rights allow the black community to avail equal opportunities everywhere.
