Racial Discrimination Today
Racial discrimination today is still a widely prevalent problem all over the world. Even though in the US things have changed to a great extent and they have even Black president, nothing much has change for majority of the minorities. Racial discrimination still exists in the American society, and the after effects of severe racial discrimination can be still felt among some of the minority groups. |

It is not only the African American group that suffers but also native Indians and Hispanics go through this type of discrimination. Research shows that the employment rate among minority groups like Native Indians and Hispanics is still low. Several times when the screening for resume take place with the employer the names sounding like Hispanics and other minority communities are eliminated right away. This type of racial discrimination is not known to others but it still exists in the society.
Even at the work place minority groups experience a slower rate growth because of their race. However, it is not done blatantly there is still search and results that show the growth rate. There are very few African Americans and other minority groups placed in higher positions at work place or involved in politics. The main reason is that minorities are never allowed to grow and the main reason for the lack of growth is because of racial discrimination against their society. If they were not controlled and restricted, even they would have had a fair chance to grow equally like other normal Americans under normal circumstances.
