The domestic abuser usually makes everything seem normal and slowly starts de-motivating their partners. They do it everything in a planned manner and the other person does not even realize it. Some of the classics signs of domestic abuse are the abuser will make everything seem normal and will start suspecting the spouse. They tend to pick up fights unnecessarily or behave withdrawn without any reason. They also withhold sex as a way of punishing their spouses. They make it seem like everything is the spouse’s fault and make them beg when the spouse has actually done nothing wrong. The abuser is vehemently dominating and will not have the spouse any say in their marriage.
One cannot cope with domestic violence because it becomes extremely stifling after a point of time. The best strategy is to walk out of the marriage or relationship if possible and restart your own life.
