Along with that, a special test for citizenship needs to be cleared ,which tests the applicants’ command over the native language of the adopted country, their feelings for the country and the countrymen, etc. however, if the applicant marries a native of the country after three years of continuous stay there, permanent status may be issued to him. Thus, it’s a long but worthwhile wait for anyone aspiring for naturalization in the country he has always thought high of.
