What Is A Permanent Resident Card ?

A permanent resident card is a sort of identification card for all foreigners who have legally entered the US and intend to stay in the country for a long duration of time. This card is also called as the immigrant visa, Green Card, permanent visa and permanent resident visa. Though these permanent residents are not actually the citizens of the US, but they are given permission to live and also work there on permanent basis.

Carrying these permanent resident cards was not mandatory earlier but now after looking at the present scenario of terrorist attacks along with various other illegal things happening around, such things have been strictly enforced by the governments.
