Alternatively, start checking all the documents that you have about your property. Invariably, a person has a survey done before purchasing a home. There should be a copy of the survey. Otherwise, get in touch with the title company that helped close the house purchase. The company will have a copy of the property line along with the description of the property and the precise size of the lot. (See Reference 2)
