It affects them in several ways in their future. Drinking also has a bad effect on teenagers who behave rather recklessly after consuming alcohol.

Parents are the only people who can help their children from becoming victims of drunken driving. Since parents are responsible for getting them a driver's license and teaching them how to drive at an early age, they have the responsibility to take the right approach. If they know that their child has been drinking or doing drugs, it is best they do not encourage them to drive by approving the driver's license. For several parents it is a very convenient option for them to buy their teenager a car and make them self sufficient for their traveling and transportation needs. However, if their child is not responsible in behavior, then this may not be the best option. A parent can play a positive role in educating their children about the effects of drunken driving and how it can harm them and others.
